1. Analyzing the property's history

You need to know what happened to the property and the chain of title before you buy it. You need to learn if there are any outstanding liens, easements, encroachments, or anything that will effect the sale of the property when it's done and ready.

Most flippers, especially beginners, fail to make any money because they don't know or don't have access to the true history of the property. This process can save you big time.
